About the Chicago Political Club

Founded to promote informed, civil dialogue on matters of public policy and governance, the Chicago Political Club is a nonpartisan, membership-based organization rooted in Chicago's rich civic tradition.

We draw inspiration from institutions like the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Union League Club, and the University Club, while maintaining a distinct focus on political exchange without partisan advocacy.

The Club hosts off-the-record briefings, salon dinners, and private events with thought leaders, diplomats, and scholars. Membership is extended by invitation to individuals committed to respectful discourse and the betterment of our city and nation.

Leadership: A rotating board of directors guides the Club's programming and membership.

Location

Private events are held at various historic venues in downtown Chicago. The Club does not maintain a public clubhouse.
